Logic, never luck
Every garden has exactly one solution, so there’s always a way to think your way there. The boards get bigger and trickier as you go.

Find the hidden lanterns. The garden will wait.

Every row, column and coloured area holds exactly one lantern, and lanterns never touch, not even diagonally.
Tap to mark a patch of grass with an X, or drag to mark several. It’s how you keep track of your thinking, and marks are free.
Double-tap to search a patch. A wrong search costs one of your three lights, so search when you’re sure. If you get stuck, a tip points you towards the next step and a hint lights a lantern for you.

There’s no account to make. The game gives you a playful name and a woodland avatar, and you can change both. Your progress stays on your phone.
Lantern Grove shows a short ad when you ask for an extra hint or tip, and now and then between gardens. There are no banners, and no ads on the home screen or while you’re solving.

Short reads for a quiet moment, from the very first rule to the patterns that crack a stubborn garden.

Every garden has its own name and look, from eight garden families of moss, stone, fern, mushroom and more. The boards get bigger as you go.

There’s one daily garden, the same for everyone, and a new one each day at midnight UTC. Solve it day after day to build a streak.

First wins and daily gardens earn points on a leaderboard that starts fresh every week. There’s no account to make: the game gives you a playful name and a woodland avatar, and you can change both. Other players can see them on the board.
